My First Grade Classroom
My room has tables this school year, instead of desks. Above them I hung "sports themed" lanterns to identify each team.
Each team has a bookshelf at the end of their table. The bookshelf holds some of the items my students need throughout the day.
Since we have a school wide sports theme, I thought we needed a hockey net as one of our comfy spots to read.
This is the classroom library. It holds leveled books. We use these to do our book shopping.
These green baskets hold collections of books in the book nook; Clifford, Biscuit, Scooby Doo and much more!
This fantastic book round is an old "fixture" from a store. It holds our non fiction book collections.
This is our little focus wall - it keeps us on track!
